Fall Out Boy- The Kids Aren't Alright
Fall Out Boy's The Kids Aren't Alright is a really cool song. The band is very popular, and I have been listening to them even since before the were super popular. I interpret the song as an abusive relationship. The abuser is so bipolar, and the The abuser is so bipolar, and the victim feel so confused. The person will go from being their amazing best friend to not even caring at all. But the thing is, the victim will still love the person no matter how much he or she hurts him or her. The person being hurt will always go back to one hurting them. They believe that the good memories outweigh the pain. The person knows that they aren't okay, because ever time the pain catches up to him or her, it catches up bad. The pain feels unbearable. And there are many teens who have been in bad relationships or have had a hard breakup who are not okay. They know they are just another piece in the person's game. They know the aren't alone. They still suffer mentally all the time, but they old do it all again in a heart beat.

Simple Plan- No Love
Simple Plan- No love
I personally believe that this song is about an abusive relationship. It could be either physical or mental. At the begging of the song, it is introducing that there is something going on that the girl isn't happy about. She's afraid to to tell someone what is happening, but she hates being stuck in this horrible situation. The chorus is saying how the relationship really is. It is full of hate, tears, pain, lies, and fears, but definitely not any love. She is confused and doesn't no what to do. In the second verse, I believe it is talking about self harm. That is what seems to be her only way to know how to cope with the pain she is going through. Nobody know what she does except for the "walls." In the climax of the song, it's saying how she's breaking down and she's tired of this being the only life she knows. She feels like he is slowly destroying her and there's nothing left to save of her. She wants so bad to just escape this nightmare. But she doesn't know what to do. She feels so hopeless

Go Radio- Goodnight Moon
Go|Radio's "Goodnight Moon" might be one of the bands most popular songs, if not THE most popular. With good reasoning, of course. The song is very clever, intertwining a love song with a children's book that we have all most likely hear of. Jason Lancaster's voice (which happens to be my favorite voice) fits the song perfectly. His voice is raspy and gentle. There is also a very good music video to go with the song. The video is seemingly talking about how destiny works. (I will link the music video below) if Go|Radio was still together, I would definitely request to work with them in the production of a video.
The meaning of the song is quite obvious. It's simply about a couple and they want to be together, and not alone. Time doesn't matter, all that matters is that they are together and very much in love. As for the video, it shows that what's meant to happen will happen, and if you are truly meant to be together, you will be. Even if you drift apart, you come back together again.

Mayday Parade- Everything's an Illusion
Mayday parade- Everything's an Illusion
This song is one of Mayday Parade's best works. This song is about a man named Chad Wilson, who was in an accident in Atlanta, Georgia and died at the age of 24. He was Jake's (the drummer) friend, and for a while Jake was very sad, angry, and emotional about the tragedy, but he kept it to himself. Eventually he ended up in Atlanta, and it triggered the memory. He knew he had to do something about it, so he wrote this song. For a long time, only Derek knew about jake's piece. Then, they showed it to the rest of the band and turned into a masterpiece. It made it onto the album "Mayday Parade."
This song is so amazing, I play it on guitar and sing. It is so sad though! But I still listen to it everyday because something about just entrigues me.
Let me know your opinion on this song, leave comments, and also tell me what you request I blog about. Hope you enjoyed!
